If you are looking for a honey other than to sweeten your tea or favorite beverage - bees and trees manuka honey is for you! I purchased it for its other benefits - helps with stomach and digestive issues, allergies, colds and flu aid and prevention - and even to apply directly to skin for psoriasis AND for a dear friends SNAKE BITE! I cannot order enough - the subscription is not enough. Since December I have ordered for feiends and family over 12 jars!

Powerful Healing

The Founder’s Reserve definitely has strong healing abilities. I use it for my digestive track and it delivers from a small amount, a teaspoon. Though it has strong medicinal properties, the flavor is delicious. Smaller package, but smaller quantity needed. Am certainly buying again.

Shopping for Mānuka honey requires an understanding of the testing, ratings, and labeling standards that describe the potency or bioactivity of the honey. Region of origin and honey production methods differentiate premium Manuka brands.

Good Labeling for Manuka Honey–MG or UMF

Manuka Honey labels should always tell you the levels of MG (dietary methylglyoxal) in the honey. MG is a naturally occurring organic compound found in Mānuka honey that correlates to its antibacterial properties. The higher the concentration of MG, the stronger the wellness and healing properties. UMF(Unique Mānuka Factor) is an alternative scale that also correlates with the levels of MG in the honey. Avoid brands that use other, non-MG measures or nomenclature.
