Mānuka honey is unique because it is only created by bees that forage on the flowers of the Mānuka tree in New Zealand. Mānuka honey is also the only honey that contains the natural organic compound, Methylglyoxal (MGO), which contributes to its amazing health and wellness properties.

How do I choose the right MGO Level?
All of our Mānuka honeys have high levels of the naturally occurring dietary methylglyoxal (MGO) that gives Mānuka honey its wellness benefits. We generally recommend our 350+ MGO honey as a good daily wellness supplement, and our 550+ MGO or 830+ MGO honeys if you're looking to treat a specific digestive health issue, such as acid reflux or stomach ulcer.

How much Mānuka honey should I take per day?
There is a lot of research around the wellness properties, and potential health benefits of Mānuka honey. Most of this research has been lab-based in-vitro studies vs. case studies or human trials. We can’t make a dosage recommendation for any particular condition Our general advice based on personal experience, and anecdotal evidence is to 1-2 teaspoons per day, and see how you are respond.
While there is no official daily dosage for Mānuka honey, we recommend having 1tsp daily if you’re adding it to your daily wellness routine. You can use more if you’re working to fend off a cold, cough or sore throat. If you’re looking to help manage acid reflux, we suggest having 1/2tsp to 1tsp twice daily, preferably morning and evening.
Can my dogs eat Mānuka honey?
